Kabisurya Baladev Vigyan Mahavidyalaya (K.B.V.Mahavidyalaya) is located in the eastern heart of the Kabisuryanagar town of Ganjam district. It is a growing educational Institution in Odisha imparting both Junior Degree wing. Initially the College was affiliated by CHSE Odisha for +2 level in Arts, Science and Commerce in the year 1984-85. The institution is now affiliated with the Berhampur University, Odisha for Under Graduation courses in the faculties of Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Education, History, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Political Science & Zoology . The institution came under the UGC fold in the year 2007 with affiliation of 2(f) & 12(B). The college has a student-centric approach to education and focuses on developing the overall personality of the students and has made an impact in its region.
Kabisurya Baladev Vigyan Mahavidyalaya (K.B.V.Mahavidyalaya), Kabisurya Nagar has established in the year 1983, in the Ganjam district of Odisha state. The institution was setup in the honour and memory of the Son of the soil, the Great Legendary odia poet, Kabisurya Baladev Rath.
