Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University (MSCB University), formerly North Orissa University, is a well-recognized institution in Odisha. It is one of the best universities in North Odisha, serving as a key institution for tribal education and holds a strong reputation, especially in the Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar regions. MSCB University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated with organizations such as the Bar Council of India, Distance Education Council (DEC), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
