Maharaja Purna Chandra (MPC Autonomous) College, Baripada
“Maharaja Purna Chandra Autonomous College” is one of the premier institutes of higher education in Odisha. Established in the year 1948, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in Odisha. During it’s inception, M.P.C Autonomous College secured affiliation to Utkal University in Intermediate Arts and Science. North Orissa University was established in 1999 and M.P.C. College got affiliated to it. According to the directive of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, the M.P.C Morning College merged with the M.P.C Autonomous College. While M.P.C Autonomous College provides UG and PG programs, the M.P.C Junior College (M.P.C. Morning College and Government Women’s College were combined) provides +2 Streams in Arts, Science and Commerce. The college has a strong legacy in higher education in Odisha.
